What’s New in Food at Angels Stadium?
Executive Chef Dennis Radcliffe of Angels Stadium has put his own spin on some of the crowdpleasers and added a few new items that are sure to be fan favorites! This section includes all the new food you can get with any ticket level -I’ll get to the Suites and Lexus Diamond Club later.
Let’s start with the Pacifico Porch Diablo Po’Boy, located in Section 207. It’s pretty massive, so I ate a few crispy shrimp with a fork to get a good bite in with the hoagie roll. It’s drizzled with spicy Mexican butter sauce.
Next, you’ve got the Casa Modelo Birria and Veggie Quesadillas found in Section 260. I found the Veggie Quesadillas to be highly satisfying-and I’m not even a vegetarian eater on the regular. They come four to an order.
Speaking of vegetarianism, The Falafel Plate from La Rotisserie is a delicious way to fill up some healthy stuff. It’s made with crispy chickpea falafel, basmati rice, and baby greens and wrapped in a grilled pita. You can find it in concessions section 114.
Brewery X, located on the right field club level, has some delicious new items, from Shrimp and Chorizo Tacos to a Chopped Cheese Sandwich with ground beef, American cheese, and an Adobo aioli.
If all of that is making you thirsty, then you came to the right place. Brewery X is also home to the Michelada Float with mango sorbet, chamoy, and tajin and a Stout Float with cookies.
Now, let’s talk desserts! There’s a new spot called Walk-Off Waffles, located in Section 232. It features Strawberries & Cream and S’mores Waffles, which are crispy and warm. I couldn’t stop eating these and still don’t know which one I preferred (the Chef’s favorite is Strawberries & Cream). It’s decadent, delicious, and a great addition to a day at the ballpark.
What’s on the Menu at the Lexus Diamond Club?
When you have Lexus Diamond Club seats, you are privileged to sit right behind home plate, within 20 rows of the field, and have access to the Lexus Diamond Club Lounge as well as In-Seat Service. The food is included in the price of your premium ticket.
The menu at the Lexus Diamond Club changes with each “home stand”-that is, it changes with each new team that comes to Angels Stadium.
In the Carvery section, you might find Smoked Prime Rib with Asparagus or Slow Roasted Turkey with Green Beans.
The Tuna Poke Bowl is refreshing and delicious and will be found in the Small Plates section if offered.
If all of this food sounds a bit too elevated for baseball, fear not! The Lexus Diamond Club also offers Ball Park Fare, which is a Chef’s choice of bratwurst, sausages, and hotdogs served on brioche buns with all the trimmings-including house-made chili.
What can you Eat in the Premium Suites at Angels Stadium?
If you’re lucky enough to be living the suite life, the food matches the privacy of premium boxed seating. Dishes like Yucatan Pollo Pibill served with white rice and fresh grilled vegetables, and Jalapeno Glazed Pork Belly with Shishito Peppers are deliciously savory and complex.
There are also Potato Taquitos platters, which you can choose to add Chicken or Birria to. The Taquitos can also be found at Casa Modelo in the stadium.
When you’re dining in the Suites, you usually order for a group based on a Dining Package, which gives you a curated menu of options designed to feed a group of 12 to 18 people. If you find you’d like an a la carte item, they are designed to feed 6 to 8 people and include Sharables like Seasonal Fruit or the Classic Stadium Nachos -which are served in a helmet.
As for dessert, you’ll find Churros drizzled in a chocolate sauce, Caramel Apples decked out with chocolate and pretzels or circus animal cookies, and a Brown Butter Lemon Tart. These feed groups of 6 to 8 guests.
