5 Brand New Brunches in Los Angeles - Eatdrinkla

 


Second only to discovering a new weekend happy hour, enjoying a shiny new brunch is one of my favorite things to do! Here’s a look at 5 brand new brunches from some already beloved restaurants all around Los Angeles.

Opened just a few weeks ago at the Beverly Center, Executive Farmer Nathan Peitso is hitting the brunch ground running with “seed to plate” items you can feel good about eating. Some of the best of the garden include Quinoa Granola made with quinoa, straus yogurt, and rhubarb compote ($12); Ocean Trout Gravlax Toast with pickled shallots, sprouts, and goat cheese ranch ($14); and an Eggs Benedict served on a buttermilk biscuit, with your choice of pork belly or ocean trout gravlax, and hollandaise ($16).

Fancy a beverage? The Bloody Marys are mixed with hand-squeezed tomatoes from Fryer Farm and hyper-seasonal sweet and green juices. Don’t know what hyper-seasonal means??Then you better get out to the farm!

Brunch takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM-4 PM.

Located in an area constantly thirsty for restaurants on the corner of La Brea and Wilshire, Commersonspecializes in modern American cuisine with French influences and is helmed by chef Winston Wingfield (Bouchon, Animal). They’re open Tuesday-Sunday starting at 5 PM, but from 10 AM-3PM Saturdays and Sundays they focus exclusively on Brunch!

Menu items are available à la carte, but wouldn’t you rather be sipping on a bottomless Bellini muddled with strawberry and basil? For $35 choose between Bottomless Bellinis & Mimosas PLUS any menu item of your choice! Menu highlights include the Smoked Salmon or Neuske’s Canadian Bacon Benedict served on house made english muffins, topped with poached eggs, béarnaise, fried capers, dill, and mixed greens ($17); Coconut Pandan French Toast with Crusoe rum butter ($15); and Tinga Sopes on purple potato sopes, with chicken tinga, black beans, avocado mousse, and cotija cheese ($17).

Another great bonus, parking is free for two hours with validation. And that’s just as much time as they give you to not see the bottom of your glass.

From Smorgasburg LA to Silverlake, We Have Noodles from Chef Darren Sayphraraj is now debuting brunch! Inspired by dim sum style dining, from 11 AM-3 PM on weekends guests can slurp up exclusive dishes like Chicken and Black Truffle Shumai ($8) savory Breakfast Ramen ($14) and many more!

At long last one of L.A.’s more impressive greenhouse dining spaces is open during daylight hours! Rosaliné in West Hollywood is serving brunch Sundays from 10:30AM -2:00PM with Chef Ricardo Zarate putting his Peruvian spin your new morning favorites. Menu must-haves include the Salchi-Papi with morcilla, chorizo, la chang, serrano ham, sunny side up eggs, rocoto ketchup, and amarillo mustard sauce ($18); Chicken and Picarones crafted with crispy chicken, sweet potato pumpkin beignet, and fig chancaca sauce ($19); and my personal favorite L.A. amalgamation, Spicy Tuna Avocado Toast made with spicy tuna, crispy quinoa bread, avocado mousse, and yuzu aioli ($18).
